Micro Cruiser
We decided that locker boards needed to be a lot cooler and made with some quality skate materials...meet the Micro Cruiser! We all have skated on a locker board before and know how much fun they are, so we decided to design one with a maple veneer deck, aluminum trucks, and urethane wheels. Everyone at Magneto has one of these in their car and we ride them all over our warehouse while picking orders. Simply put, they are a blast!

Super Portable
This is the most portable board we make. Everyone at the company has one in the back of their car or in their backpack. Living in Southern California is a lot of fun, which tends to bring in crowds of people...so much so that it can be hard to get to where you're headed easily. Having this board around not only solves this problem, but it also makes getting places a lot more fun. The Mirco Cruisers are also perfect for school campuses. Keep the board in your bag or locker and pull it out when needed. Truly a blast to include in your daily life.
Quality Components
Most boards in this category are made with plastic...we hate that idea. Not only is plastic bad for the planet, it makes riding your board uncomfortable and unstable. Instead of plastic we used a 7 ply maple deck for our board. Much better :)
We also included actual soft urethane wheels with the board. These make the ride even better because the wheels grip the road and smooth out a lot of the unwanted road vibrations.
The bearings are rated at ABEC 5 and provide a super smooth ride with plenty of speed. If you take care of these bearings they'll last a long time!
The trucks are made from high strength aluminum and use the same urethane formula for the bushings. You'll really appreciate the feeling of turning with these trucks and bushings.
3 Different Shapes
Another awesome feature in this lineup is the 3 different shapes we designed. We kept things traditional with the Cruiser shape, but the Bomber and Coffin shape will add some flair to your vibe...if that's what you're looking for.
-
The Crusier
A classic deck shape with wheel wells cut in the bottom of the deck to prevent wheel bite. This style of deck dates back to the beginning of skateboarding and will be around long after we're all gone. If your vibe is keeping it classy this is the shape for you. The sage graphics on the bottom add a nice natural look and feel to the board with a hint of surf appeal.
-
the Bomber
A bomber-shaped deck with wheel wells cut in the bottom of the deck to prevent wheel bite. This deck is styled after the wide pool cruiser-type boards. There are some downhill boards that have a blunt nose similar to this design as well. The red white and blue graphics on the bottom of the board are inspired by any American hero that likes going fast and bombing down the road...if you ain't first, you're last!
-
the Coffin
A coffin-shaped deck with wheel wells cut in the bottom of the deck to prevent wheel bite. This deck is a favorite among our staff in the shop. The deck is modeled after those uniquely shaped coffin decks that were popular in the past and have now made a resurgence, or should we say resurrection? The graphics are clean lines with a black to teal color gradient.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How big is this board?
The board is only 22 inches long and is designed to be able to fit in a locker or a backpack. They are a blast to ride around campus!
Q: Is this a good board for downhill riding?
Even for daredevils the micro cruiser would be pretty sketchy for downhill. You can certainly boom hills with it but our Carbon Fiber Downhill board is much better suited for that style of riding.
Q: What is the maximum weight rating for the board?
275 lbs
Q: How much does the board weigh?
The board weights about 4 lbs.
Q: What is the concave on the deck?
The deck is really too small for any concave. It is pretty flat with a subtle kicktail for added fun.
Q: How thick is the deck and how many plies does it have?
The deck is 10 mm thick and composed of 7 plies of hard maple.
